Hey Growers,
Casey here. A Tower Garden is a serious purchase. I respect that. This keeps it simple and answers the questions I get most.
WHY IS IT EXPENSIVE?
You are paying for a complete system that is built to run daily. Food-grade materials, a reliable pump, proper lighting, and enough planting sites to feed a family. Cheaper countertop units are fine for herbs. This is built to produce meals.
HOW LONG UNTIL IT PAYS FOR ITSELF?
Most families who replace 2–4 clamshells of greens and a few herb bunches each week save about 40–80 dollars per month. At that pace the math works in roughly 12–18 months. Your numbers may vary.
WILL IT FIT IN MY HOME?
Home uses about 3 sq ft. Flex uses about 5 sq ft. You need an outlet and a small mat or tray. Kitchens, dining corners, and patios work well.
HOW MUCH WORK IS IT?
Top up water once a week. Check pH. Trim leaves. Swap in a few fresh seedlings every two weeks. Plan on 10–15 minutes per week once you are set up.
IS IT LOUD OR MESSY?
The pump is a gentle hum. No soil, so cleanup is quick. A small mat keeps the area tidy.
WHAT IF I FAIL OR SOMETHING BREAKS?
Start with easy greens and herbs. Follow the setup guide. If you run into issues, reach out. Tower Garden support is solid.
If you are ready to buy, start with the Home kit. If you have more space or want a patio setup, look at Flex.
